Sotuta de Peon-Hacienda Live

This place is one of the few haciendas where the people still work with the Henequen. During the walking tour, you will visit the house and admire the lifestyle of the people who live in these haciendas. Then you will visit the machine's house where the process of the "Henequen" begins. During the tour you will see all the steps until you see a finished product.

After we'll take a "truck" which is a cart pulled by horses, and you will enjoy swimming in the Dzul-Ha Cenote. The staff will give you all the equipment you need. During the ride we will make a stop in a Maya House where the grandfather will give us a explanation about his life and customs. Later you will have time refresh and go for a swim. We will then return and will be given time for lunch (not included in the tour). During the afternoon you will return to your hotels in Mérida.
