Izamal has been characterized by its yellow colour in all houses and buildings. Come and know the famous Convent of San Antonio de Padua. Our trip begins with a visit to the Convent, famous because the Pope Juan Pablo II gave a mass during his visit to Yucatan in 1993. There you can admire the pictures of the colonization along the walls of the convent and later you will go to the 5 pyramids around the town. This city is characterised by the time when the conquers arrived to Izamal. They built the new city on the ancient Mayan pyramids, so you can still see the remains of these in the town.
